When it comes to marketing, there’s so many software’s and tools out there for you to choose from, but not all of them will be right for you or your business. Depending on what you specialise in you may need different or multiple software.

SEMrush
SEMrush is a versatile competitive intelligence suite for online marketing. It can help with SEO, PPC, social-media and video advertising research. It’s a great tool to use, if you have lots of different projects on the go you can set these up and run reports at a time that suits you.

CisionPoint
This tool is a PR’s dream come true. It’s great for sourcing new bloggers that suit your brand. You can optimise your searches to look for your topic as well your chosen source; this could be a blogger, social channel, print and even radio.

HARO
This is another tool for PR which provides journalists with a robust database of sources for upcoming stories. If you have an Alexa rating of under 1million, you can submit a query to gain answers/ interviews for stories at a click of a button. You’ll also receive daily emails with a wide range of topics that give you a chance to reply with your expertise for PR.

MailChimp
Whether integrated into your website or used separately, this tool is a great solution to email marketing, allowing you to manage subscribers, send and design emails and more importantly, track and analyse the results of email campaigns.

FollowerWonk
This free software is good for analysing Twitter channels. It’s great for understanding where your audience is, what times they’re online and to find out what do they tweet about. You can also find and connect with new influencers and create/ share results.

Hootsuite
Hootsuite is a social media management platform that allows you to connect a wide-range of social networks and add multiple team members to share the workload. You can manage all your networks and profiles from one source, as well as scheduling content, listening to what your audience are saying about your brand and analysing/creating reports.
